Warnings & Precautions

Charging

• USE NiCd-SPECIFIC CHARGERS ONLY. Chargers for Li-ion or other chemistries are dangerous and will damage the battery.

• Terminate charge using proper methods (-ΔV, temperature cut-off, or timer) to prevent overcharging.

• Never charge at currents exceeding the specified maximum.

• Charge within the specified temperature range (0°C to 45°C). Charging below 0°C can cause irreversible damage.

Discharging

• Avoid deep discharge below 1.0V per cell. This can cause cell reversal and permanent damage in multi-cell packs.

• Do not short-circuit the terminals. This will generate extreme heat and pose a fire risk.

• Allow the battery to cool after prolonged high-rate discharge before recharging.

Storage & Handling

• For long-term storage, store in a cool, dry place at a charge level of 40-50%.

• Avoid storing the battery in a fully discharged or fully charged state for extended periods.

• Contains Cadmium: This is a toxic heavy metal. DO NOT DISPOSE OF IN REGULAR TRASH.

• Must be recycled at a designated battery recycling facility.
